Filmmakers traveled across state

The documentary "A State of Transition: Why Ohio and its Grads Need Each Other" addresses both the economic challenges the state faces as well as the the role highly educated young people can play in helping re-shape Ohio's economic future.

It also examines opportunities for college graduates as well as solutions they can provide the state.

The documentary was created during the fall semester in 2009. To create the film, communication and journalism majors enrolled in Professor Joe Sampson's COM/JRN 314 class traveled across Ohio talking to educators, administrators, employers, historians and students about why Ohio needs to better retain its best and brightest.
