Women will dive into championship meet

(Oxford) The 2010 Mid-American Conference Women’s Swimming and Diving championship meet is sure to make a splash here at Miami Feb. 24-27.

Senior diver Kelsey Anagnos is excited to swim at her own pool this year.

"I’m competitive amongst the best in the MAC and it’ll be a really good competition there are a lot of good divers and we’re hoping on all three of the Miami divers going to the top 8, which is a finalist," said Anagnos. 

The MAC women’s swimming and diving championship is returning to Oxford for the fourth time. Miami’s team leads all MAC schools with a conference record of 16 titles.

"We will be competitive. It’s going to be us, OU and Toledo in my opinion that’s my guess. It’s going to be a really exciting meet. So I urge Miami to come support us because we won last year we are defending the championship and we want it really bad," said Anagnos.
